SDXC card

Memory cards may not be the flashiest electronics (snort!) but they are pretty amazing when you watch them evolve. Case in point, the upcoming SDXC card.

The XC’s short for “eXtended Capacity” as in 2 TERABYTES of storage.

The memory is also capable of read/write speeds of 300 megabytes per second. The new spec is being announced today at CES, with products to follow hopefully later in the year.
