Here’s a quick hit for you, from the WordPress camp. 11 million downloads into WordPress 3.0, it’s time for an incremental update.
3.0.1 addresses 50 different of bugs, including a privacy issue with trashed posts.

WordPress permalinks show up as 404 errors! How do you fix it?
One of the most common problems people contact me with regarding their WordPress blogs is the permalinks turning all their pages into 404 page not found errors. By default WordPress will link your blog entries as /?p=## but most people would rather the URL contain the post title, date or both. You go into the admin page, then settings and finally permalinks.

WordPress 2.8.6 Security Release
WordPress 2.8.6 fixes two security problems that can be exploited by registered, logged in users who have posting privileges.
If you have untrusted authors on your blog, upgrading to 2.8.6 is recommended.
The first problem is an XSS vulnerability in Press This discovered by Benjamin Flesch. The second problem, discovered by Dawid Golunski, is an issue with sanitizing uploaded file names that can be exploited in certain Apache configurations.
